Old Town (Altstadt)
The old quarter of Düsseldorf is a very charming district with historical buildings from the last centuries. TV tower(Fernsehturm)
The Rhine Tower is also the television tower in Duesseldorf. With its 240 meters it is the tallest building in the city and the tenth highest television tower in Germany. The tower which stands directly at the Rhine river has a special feature on its side, facing the old town, a so-called light sculpture, which is considered the largest digital clock in the world

Duesseldorfer Schauspielhaus
The "duesseldorf Schauspielhaus" at the Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz 1 is one of the biggest new theaters in the postwar period and was built by the architekt Bernard Pfau. This is about democracy and culture, because the auditorium was built as an expression of the new image of society without boxes or ranks.
Tonhalle
The only planetarium exists for almost three decades and experienced musical stars. Since 1892, duesseldorf largest concert hall is the "Tonhalle". In the second world war it was completely destroyed, one building survived and was remoldeld in 1971 for "sounding Planetarium". In 1987, the "Tonhalle" oficially opened. Since then, about six million visitors attended the more than 5.000 events in this unique concert hall, which houses all the major genres of high culture of classic music to jazz. 200 concerts per year spread across the great hall with nearly 2.000 seats, a chamber music hall with 300 seats and an impressive rotunda in the lobby. Kom(m)ödchen

The Castle Park Eller
The Cadtle Park Eller is with 30.75 hectares one of the largest parks in the city. The spacious green area in the english-style landscaped park, built by Maximilian Weyhe, offers 70.000 square lawn, 30.000 square meters shrubs and 143.000 square meters forest for nice walks and undisturbed rest.
North Park / Aquazoo
North Park - which means variety, leisure, water features, sculptures, valuable trees, flowerbeds accurate, interesting children's playground and Japanese garden on a total of 36 hectares. Here you will also find the duesseldorf aquazoo.
